Decolonizing & self determination

Art has transformed the world we live in, locking those moments that have changed history in our communities. From murals to posters and banners we see at the marches and protests we attend. Inspiring us to continue 'En La Lucha'

I printed posters for the Cesar Chavez March that happened in Salinas, California 2018.

The SOUTH WEST ART TOUR is to INSPIRE and EMPOWER Migrant/Indigenous/POC through Visual Arts, Poetry and Music.

With the constant attack of OUR COMMUNITIES from the current administration and the rise of public displays of Xenophobia and racism around the country we are coming together to share OUR LOVE FOR ART with different communities to collectively understand the power ART HAS TO CHANGE THE WORLD we live in.

The mission of the South West Art Tour is to bring the community together to paint a mural and share art that includes printmaking, poetry, platica and music. Printmaking has been a way of sharing political messages for ages and murals can empower communities to create the world we want to see. The art collective will have prints for sale and will be printing bandanas with hand carved wood blocks.
